Hello and happy June! I know it's summer for many people, including me. I've been spending a lot of time at the beach and I hope you get to enjoy somewhere relaxing, too! Today, I'm sharing a dreamy card and tag set. I love fairies and the Fairy Fantasy stamp set from Brutus Monroe was perfect for the card I imagined in my head. With a soft rainbow sky background behind large flowers and insects, it was a perfect setting for this whimsical fairy. I love how he's taking time to smell the flowers. That's something we all need to

To create the background, I began with a soft rainbow. I used Altenew Crisp Dye Inks in Strawberry, Orange Sorbet, Lemon Ice, Pistachio, and Blueberry. I topped that with whimsical clouds by stamping Brutus Monroe's Spiral Clouds in black ink. The stamp is a little narow for what I wanted, but the fun thing about it is you can contiuously stamp it to make a sky as large as you like.

I stamped flowers, the fairy and ladybug with a Copic friendly ink. I actually stamped more than this. Pro Tip: It's always a good idea to stamp and/or diecut items while you have the product out; it saves time for when you reach for it again.

Here are the colored images. I had so fun with these! I always love coloring florals with my Copics. Also, here's the bee that wasn't seen in the previous image. For the flowers, I used RV34, R85, R32, R83, YR04, Y17, E15, and E18. For the elf, I used G46, G24, G21, G07, E31, E34, E15, E39, YR27, YR24, and B000. The ladybug colors are R29, R39, 100, T7, and T5. The bee was colored in YR04, Y17, E37, and B000

Here's the tag I made. If I knew I was going to make a tag, I would've placed the bee closer to the fairy. Cut the card panel down to 2 1/2" and used my We R Memory Keepers tag punch. It creates tags that are 1 1/2", 2", and 2 1/2". It's so versatile, and I use it on all of my tags!

Final card. I cut down the panel to 4" x 5 1/4", then mounted onto a black 4 1/4" x % 1/2" panel.  I trimmed the flowers so they extended to the edge of the black panel to give it more dimension. I added a simple sentiment and it was complete. I used Gemini Hexagon Multimedia Dies and Spellbinders Dahlia cardstock. The sentiment is from Brutus Monroe's Fairy Fantasy stamp set. Thanks for taking the time to read this blog. I hope you like the projects! If you have any questions, please contact me on the contact portion of this website.
